Fr. Rafael Lavilla from St. John Paul II will be celebrating our Children's Mass on Thursday! In honor of Veteran's Day we are inviting our Palmer family veterans and active duty military for a special blessing.

We will have weekly Adoration on TUESDAYS in the PCA chapel for our students and staff. Parents who are cleared are welcome to attend as well. Please use the Sign-Up Genius link below to sign up for a 15 minute time slot to spend time with Jesus:

Parents, please check your child's PE shorts. Shorts should be an appropriate length and LOOSE- fitting.

As a reminder, notices about merits, demerits, and uniform violations are generated from RenWeb when received. ALL OF THESE NOTICES ARE GENERATED WITH THE SUBJECT LINE OF "BEHAVIOR EVENT". This cannot be changed in the system, so please read the whole email to determine what type of event it was. Uniform violations do NOT get demerits. These violations simply have a fine. Money collected will be used for our seminarian gifts.

The Scholastic Book Fair is THIS WEEK AT PCA! Students will have a chance to shop the book fair during their scheduled STREAM class. If you would like to shop with your child, we have options this year!! Come visit the book fair during our family event after school on Wednesday, November 6, from 3:30-5:30. Or, explore and shop online at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/palmercatholicacademy. You can use this link to set up an e-wallet for your child to shop without cash during their scheduled Book Fair time!

***Please note, as with any online book ordering, we encourage parents to preview the book summaries before purchasing them for their children to ensure they align with our Catholic faith. We will preview the books that will be for sale at the school, but we do not have control over the Scholastic website.***

This year we are pleased to offer Poinsettias to our PCA Schools and Parish families as part of our fundraiser. We are teaming up with Powell’s Nursery in Callahan, a family-owned small business that has been around for many years and supplies quality trees and plants.

We hope you will help us in raising money for an enhanced security system at Palmer Catholic Academy Preschool. These beautiful flowers are perfect for the Christmas season!

The poinsettias will be delivered at the preschool after Masses on December 7 and 8.

We will be using the app GIVEBACKS which makes it easy to purchase items or even donate toward PCAP. We will be using this app for all the fundraisers.

If a student (of any age) makes a threat to the school, classmate, and/or staff member, whether it is verbally, in writing, in drawing, or in jest, the following procedures will be followed.

-Administration will speak with the child and any witnesses to the incident.

-The child's parents will be called to come to school.

-LAW ENFORCEMENT WILL BE NOTIFIED. Law enforcement will need to determine if it is a credible threat, and if the child is a danger to themselves or others. Once law enforecement is involved, they need to make a report.

-The student will receive consequences which will include suspension or expulsion.

Please note: the same protocol will be followed if a child mentions bringing in a gun (or any other weapon), draws pictures of themselves with a gun (or any other weapon), or for any mention of a gun or weapon.

We take school safety very seriously. We encourage you to have a conversation with your child regarding these policies. As a reminder, these policies include students of ALL AGES.
