I-Ready Student Diagnostic Reports

Literature Character Day on October 31st

Students dress up as their favorite literature characters for school and bring an accompanying book.

Please remember, no masks, weapons, no scary costumes, or face paint.

The TVUSD dress code will still be enforced.

1. Students must wear clothing including a shirt with pants or skirt, or the equivalent (for example dresses, leggings, or shorts) and shoes.
2. Clothing shall be sufficient to conceal undergarments and buttocks. No underwear, undergarments, or clothing that is comparable to undergarments (e.g, bathing suits that resemble the same coverage of an undergarment) may be visible at any time. Clothing may not be see-through or mesh if underwear is visible underneath.
3. Attire may not display images that are violent and/or depict drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, or promote any unlawful act. Additionally, attire may not contain imagery, words or acronyms associated with hate speech, profanity, pornography, or any promotion and/or endorsement of violence, alcohol or drug use.

ELAC Date Change

We will be moving our second ELAC meeting to December 4th after Wednesday Flag at 9:15.

Attendance Matters

What do I do if my child misses school?

Please call the Attendance Office at your school site and leave a message. Please leave your child’s name, the reason for the absence, the date of the absence and your name to verify that it was a parent/guardian that is verifying the absence. Or, you may send a note upon your child’s return to school.

Early Pick-up

Parking Lot

A couple reminders for our parking lot:

Kindergarten late birds get out at 2:30 p.m.; please allow Kinder parents to pull through if you are early to pick up your child at 3:15 p.m. we may ask you to move so that our Kindergarteners can leave
Please follow the flow of traffic to ensure the safety of all our students
No line jumping - If you are in the passing lane you have to exit the parking lot. You cannot go back into the drop off lane. This disrupts the flow of traffic and is not safe for the cars that are trying to exit.
If you are parking and walking to pick up your students please use the crosswalks at both sides of the parking lot

Typical Peers for Special Education Preschool Class

We are looking for typical peers for the special education preschool classroom at TES. If you would like to have your child be considered for the typical peer program, please click on the link below for further information and the application. (Note: This is a free program. Your child must be three years old by 8/14/2021 and be fully toilet trained.)
