HOMECOMING! NEW DATES!
WHS Student Services. We need snacks!
Student Support Services offers a myriad of services to students. Often, students come in to see Ms. Dalia and request a snack or item to eat. We have a very small budget for such items and would appreciate snack donations. Specific items include granola bars, bags of chips, fruit snacks, ramen cups, and other individually wrapped snacks.
Please email Tara Appling at tappling@powayusd.com if you can donate! Donations will be collected in a daily drop box during the office hours 8:30AM to 3:45PM
Thank you for your support!

New smiles at Westview! Introducing excellent educators guiding our WHS Learners!
Educator Chi lao shi. World Language.
I am Lu (Lucy) Qi. Students call me Chi lǎo shī. This year, I will be teaching Mandarin Chinese at Westview High School. Before joining our school, I worked at a middle school for four years teaching Mandarin immersion program, and at a high school for two years.
In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my kids, a 9-year-old daughter and a 15-month-old son. I also like traveling, hiking, and delicious food.
MAP OF DROP OFF AND PICK UP
Parking Lot & Student Drop Off Update
We would like to ask all parents to drop off and pick up students in our main lot only (see diagram below). Using the student parking lot adjacent to our theater only creates more congestion, as this is where all of our student drivers have been directed to park. Also, it is important that students are not dropped off or picked up in the Cotija’s/Frescos parking lot. That parking lot is reserved for customers only.

PTSA LEARNERS NEED YOU!
Calling all parents/caregivers!
The PTSA Wellness Committee is excited to invite you to be a crucial part of our open gym sessions this year. This was such a hit last year that we've decided to bring it back and offer it to our students again BUT, we can only do that with your support. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to monitor the gym during lunch hour so our students can burn off extra energy! As a parent volunteer, you'll have an opportunity to create a safe and enjoyable environment for them on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in September. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to be involved and a watchful eye to oversee our students choosing to play basketball or volleyball in the gym during their lunch hour.
Please use the link below to select any days that you are available to monitor the gym. Your involvement matters and together, we can bring this enjoyable experience back to our students!
