Welcome Back Cardinals!
Dear Corbett Families and Students,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! August is always an exciting and optimistic time: teachers are getting their classrooms and materials ready for students, fall athletes are on campus, and even the floors are sparkling in anticipation of the first day of school. Whether you are a new student or a returning student, I am confident that you will find ways to excel in the classroom and have opportunities to try new things this year. I highly recommend getting involved in activities such as robotics, band, or athletics, as the friendships and connections you build will help you to make the most of your high school experience.
Our school community has a rich history of coming together both in times of celebration and in times of need. As we continue our journey of ensuring that Every Student Belongs, I am committed to including student voice in shaping our school environment, and committed to supporting staff and students in creating the school community that we can all be proud of.
I am very proud of the students and staff at our school. As a team, we want to make sure that every student who graduates from Corbett has the skills and knowledge to pursue their goals. Our school values that guide this work include:
Deep, interdisciplinary, meaningful teaching and learning.
Preparation for effective citizenship in a democracy.
Multiple, contemporary, inclusive narratives.
Relationships, community, and collaboration.
I am looking forward to continuing to partner with families in supporting students in reaching their full potential.
