Spring Family Literacy/STEM Night
We had a wonderful time on Thursday at our Title One Workshop: Spring Family Literacy/STEM Night!
Students were given a passport when they arrived and were able to walk around the school with their families to experience different learning stations.
Some options were: SC Ready Test Prep, Book Flix, Book Swap, Dr. Seuss BINGO, Fairytale Virtual Reality, the STAR Lab, Interactive Storytime, Big Bad Wolf Escape Rooms, ABC Scavenger Hunt, Fine Motor Fundamentals, and more!
Read Across America Week
Students had fun dressing up and celebrating Read Across America Week!
Kona Ice
Students enjoyed Kona Ice at recess on Tuesday!
F1S Food Truck
Fourth and fifth grade students loved visiting the district food truck today during lunch! Students had chicken and waffle fry entrees with a choice of their favorite dipping sauce. Based on all the smiles we saw, students enjoyed this fun option for lunch with fruit and milk to round out the perfect meal!
2nd Grade Author Visit
Gracie Arnold, author, visited our 2nd grade students and read her book, "Shining Bright: My Inner Light."
1st & 3rd Project Showcase with Parents
1st and 3rd grade students had their project showcases last week! We were so glad to see many families in attendance.
4th Grade DEAR Time with Parents
Students participated in Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) day in 4th grade on Friday.
During the morning they enjoyed cozying up in the classroom and reading chapter and picture books with their friends. During the afternoon, parents/guardians were invited to the classroom to make bookmarks with their students.

Don't forget: Registration opens Monday for the upcoming school year.
Snapcodes will be used to complete registration. Parents/guardians will be provided their child’s snapcode in two ways:
Via an email from PowerSchool Enrollment on March 10th when registration goes live
With Quarter 3 report cards
Please note that new students will NOT have a snapcode to complete registration. Their parent/guardian will use the New Student Registration link and follow the prompts to upload all required documents.
Don’t have a device at home? District-issued Chromebooks can be used to complete registration online!
