Running Club
Students and Parents:
Our First Running Club is this Friday! (4.25.25) 3:00-4:00
Children will need to bring clothes and running shoes to change into after school. Please dress for the weather.
I am excited to be able to offer Running Club for 1st-6th graders after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00pm. If your child is interested in running and running activities or would like to get ready for sports, running club is for them. We will talk about the importance of stretching and learn about good running form.
Keep in mind that we will be running and students will be required to participate. We will be training for the SHS 5k as well as doing fun activities. Students will be fit and ready to run either the 1k or the 5k at the race.

News from Preschool
This week down in preschool we have been busy working on learning all about the last letter of
the alphabet Zz. Now that we have officially gotten through the whole alphabet we are going to
be doing tons of letter review and we are also going to start working numbers. We have also
been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly by observing the caterpillars we have had in
the room since we’ve been back from spring break. We have also done a few life cycle activities
to go along with this unit as well. Right now the caterpillars are in the chrysalis stage. Hopefully
soon we will have 6 painted lady butterflies.
Please be on the lookout for more information/ reminders about our upcoming field trip on May
6th and for the parents who have students that are graduating on June 6th please be on the
lookout for more information regarding graduation here soon.
