Necedah MS/HS Family Update

Dear Students and Parents,

We had a great week at Necedah MS/HS! A special thank you to our area business/industry partners that shared their time and expertise with our students - Bank of Mauston, Juneau County Justice Center/Sheriff's Office, Camp Douglas EMS, Freudenberg-NOK, Camp-Inn Trailers, MitoTech Precision, Cranberry Creek Cranberries, Tomah Hospital, Marquis Energy, Meadow Valley Log Homes, Woodside Sports Complex, Rudig-Jensen, Wabash National, Department of Health/Human Services, Necedah Food Pantry, and WRJC. Our students were provided with some great hands-on learning experiences.

Moving forward, we have two upcoming events that highlight the spirit of our school and community. On April 29, we have our 7th annual Earth Day Clean-up. If you know someone in the community that needs help with some yard work or other outdoor chores, our students and staff would be happy to help. Additionally, we have our Wheels, Wings, and Beyond Career Fair on May 5. If you or someone you know may be interested in sharing their career knowledge with our students, please contact Mrs. Moore at 565-2256 x104.

And finally, now that our Youth Mental Health First Aid Class is complete, we will resume our MS/HS Parents/Staff/Community Stronger Together meetings. These are set for -

• March 31 - 530pm - School Library - Link to Notes
• April 28 - 530pm - School Library
• May 26 - 530pm - School Library

These meetings will focus on Follow-up training ideas for Youth Mental Health First Aid, Family Engagement/Parent conference ideas for next school year, and Standards-Based Grading parent needs. Any and all parents/community are welcome to attend.
