February Focus Competitions

This month, we will be hosting two competitions starting on February 1st and running through February 29th. We will recognize the focus class in each grade with the highest attendance and the class that completes the most I-Ready reading lessons. Prizes will be awarded to the winners!

6th-Grade Camp 2024

We have sent permission slips on multiple occasions and attempted to make contact via email and phone calls. If we do not receive your student's permission slip by March 1st, we will proceed with our placements, and your child may miss out on the fantastic tradition that is our CCMS 6th Grade Outdoor School.


Planning for the 66th year of our CCMS Outdoor School program is currently underway. Parents often inquire about the procedures for their child's participation in the May camp. Rest assured, you and your child will be informed as soon as dates and schedules are finalized. Stay tuned for more details!

Exclusion Day Update!

Letters have been sent to parents of students requiring vaccinations or exemptions. As a friendly reminder, exclusion day is approaching on February 15th, and students must have the necessary vaccinations or exemptions to attend school on that day. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance. Your inquiries are always welcome.

CCMS Winter Clubs

The new Trimester means new CCMS Clubs! We currently have ten clubs offered for our CCMS Colts. Many of the clubs we’ve offered in the past, but we are also excited to have a few new ones! Come by the office for the parent permission form and connect at CCMS.

New CCMS PBIS Acronym

In our ongoing commitment to improve our Behavior Intervention and Support program, we have introduced a new acronym that aligns with our CCMS mission and goals. Additionally, we will incorporate lessons on these principles into our Focus Classes and acknowledge students who exemplify these traits.

  • 2/16 & 17 - Wrestling Hosts Central Oregon MS Districts @ CCHS


Also, Soccer and Track and Field start after Spring break. Please make sure that you have an updated physical and get involved!
