Greetings, Viper Community!
Happy New Year! On behalf of the VMMS staff, we hope that your family had a restful and joyous winter break. We look forward to more exciting learning opportunities that lie ahead in 2025!
During the last Advisory classes before winter break, your Viper engaged in a lesson on Stress Management with is an IB Affective Skill that supports the development of our personal state of mind. As the year continues to unfold, we want to ensure that our Vipers are engaging in self-care as they find BALANCE (an IB Learner Profile Trait) in their everyday life, with things like juggling school work, extracurricular activities, and relationships with family & friends, etc.
Please take a moment to dialogue with your Viper regarding how they maintain balance and manage stress. Listed here are some coping strategies that can be utilized to help Vipers grow in this IB Affective Skill of Self-Management.
Vipers will soon be completing final reporting assignments, projects and assessments as the end of the 1st Semester is fast approaching. Stress Management will be essential in ensuring our Vipers have their best foot forward. Thank you for being a partner in your Viper's growth this year!

We are so very thankful to all those that have donated to our Annual VMMS Adopt a Family Service as Action. Your generosity is appreciated beyond measure! The local VUSD families were grateful and welcomed the gift of kindness. Our Viper Community made a powerful and positive impact, this is the IB way!
A big shout out goes our to Mr. Art Flores (VMMS Community Liason) & Ms. Alicia Tabares (VMMS Social Worker), who worked behind the scenes to keep this amazing tradition alive at VMMS. We are so fortunate to have such kind and giving staff who go the extra mile to support others.
Our Annual Winter IB Expo was a fun and festive success! We are so proud of all our Vipers who honed their entrepreneurial skills to make their small businesses thrive. Thank you to the entire Viper Community for supporting our students!
Special shout out to Ms. Jennifer Eckle, the IB Expo Mastermind who coordinated the many moving parts of this huge school-wide event. We are so grateful!
