Principal's Update
Hello Leopard Families-
We hope that you and your family enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend! Thanks in advance for reading this update!
PTA Updates:
Thank you to our PTA for providing pizza to our staff on Thursday! It was much appreciated and very tasty!
Our PTA has shared this link for families who are interested in assisting with a March Teacher Appreciation Cookie Party. Thank you in advance for your support!
It's not too late to show your support for all Leopards by joining the PTA! Use this link to find out more information!
Note to Fifth Grade Parents:
Choice sheets for next year are due by Friday, March 1st.
Note from our England Nurse:
Fever Policy: Students with a temperature of 100˚F or above will be sent home.
To prevent the spread of a contagious disease, students need to fever free without the use of temperature reducing medications for 24 hours before returning to school.
Please do not medicate your student for fever and then send them to school. The medication will lower the body temperature, however the student remains contagious and can spread illness to others. Thank you for your support in keeping our Leopards healthy!
Annual Family Survey from Round Rock ISD:
Your voice is important! Please check your inbox for our annual survey. Our family survey is mobile-friendly and short. Your input is valuable and will be used to plan and implement opportunities for our school. Thank you to the 23% of our families that have completed this already. We would love to see that participation number grow!
Cafeteria Lunches:
Did you know that you can check your student's account information (purchase details, funds, etc) at My School Bucks? This is a helpful tool to be able to keep track of the purchases being made and monitor spending. If you would like to put a restriction on what your child is purchasing, you are welcome to email our cafeteria manager at england_cafeteria@roundrockisd.org. Please include your child's full name and grade level.
Dropping Off Lunches:
We understand that mornings can be rushed and that can result in lunches being left at home. We're happy to help in getting these lunches to students after they are dropped off. However, we are experiencing an increase in lunches being dropped off daily and do not have the staff available to maintain the volume that we are receiving. Due to this, please plan to send lunches to school with your child in the mornings and only drop off lunches that may have been forgotten. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Third Grade Economics Fair:
It’s time for our annual Economics Fair hosted by the 3rd grade classes! As part of a service learning project, the third grade students have created cool products to sell in an effort to raise money for conservation efforts. Through our fundraising efforts, we will be helping to protect endangered species, conserve habitats, and assist with worldwide conservation. Students in grades K-5 will have a chance to shop at the fair.
Please help us raise money for this worthy cause by purchasing tickets online through eStore. Most items (products) cost between $1.00 - $3.00. Money will then be converted to “tickets” with each ticket equally 25 cents. All money will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), including money that is not spent.
Purchase your tickets on eStore NO LATER THAN Monday, March 4. No cash or late donations will be accepted.

Click on “Economics Fair”
Select your child’s grade level.
Tickets are sold in $5 increments. Add the $5 to your account.
Enter your child’s first and last name.
Select your child’s teacher from the drop down menu.
Go to the cart and select how many additional $5 increments you would like to purchase. (For example: Quantity 2 = $10)
If you have multiple children at this school, you will need to purchase for each child individually, by grade level and teacher. (Example: If you have a student in 1st grade and 3rd grade, you will need to add each child to your cart).
Select your payment method and confirm your purchase. There will be a $1.50 purchase fee.
Your child’s tickets will be delivered to their teacher before the fair. Happy shopping!
Thank you for your support!

Update in Arrival Procedures (Beginning 3/4):
Thank you to our England Community for collaborating with us to refine our arrival processes to create a safe and efficient environment for our Leopards. We appreciate your partnership and support!
- The doors to the school open at 7:15 AM. Please do not drop off your child before 7:10 AM, as this presents a safety concern for your child.
- After you drop your child off, please exit the drop-off lane.
- As soon as you enter the parking lot, please have your child get ready to exit the car with their school materials in hand.
- When you reach the drop-off lane, please slowly pull all the way to the end.
- If you are utilizing our drop-off lane the only people that should be exiting the vehicle at any time are Elsa England students.
- Staff members are present to monitor student safety. Please work with your child to open their door independently as we do not have enough staff available to accommodate opening each car door.
- Kindergarten through 5th grade students are expected to exit the car independently. If your child needs help exiting the car please ask your teacher for a needs assistance sign. Pre-Kindergarten will all have access to a needs assistance sign. Please utilize the assistance needed zone at the very end of the car rider drop-off lane if help is needed. (Assistance Needed Zone will only be available at the front of the school.)
- Do not exit your vehicle while in the drop off lane.
- Beginning March 4, cones will be added to clearly define a car rider drop-off lane. Cars will no longer be able to freely merge between the drive lane and the drop-off lane as this has created unsafe driving conditions. (Cones will only be added to the front of the school.)
- In front of the school is a red firelane, and it is illegal to park here. It also creates a safety hazard for the families who are trying to follow the law and safely exit our parking lot.
- If walking to the school, utilize the sidewalks on both sides of the school. Do not walk across the parking lot and driving lanes, as this area is heavy with traffic and is not safe for pedestrians.
Please review this video that outlines how to partner with us in creating a safe environment for our Leopards.
We look forward to a week of learning and fun with our Leopards!
In partnership,
Krystall Williams
