Learning From A Distance

Howdy!

I am Mrs. Reetzke, your e-teacher. I am substituting for Mrs. Arcisz this quarter. Generally, my position at VVHS is that of In-School Detention Facilitator. But, have no fear, I was a "real" teacher for many years and feel confident that I can assist you in your studies. You can count on me for more than just unlocking quizzes, and tests.

One good thing about distance learning is that you can do it whenever your schedule allows. However, I am not available 24/7. Here are my office hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9 am - 2 pm
• Wednesday: 9 am - 6 pm

One of the best ways to keep from getting stuck in the distance learning process is to be aware of what is expected. Here you go:

1. It is expected that each student will complete at least TWO UNITS per week. Those enrolled in multiple sections will complete two units PER class per week.
2. If you don't pass a quiz or test or if you just get stuck, shoot me an email and I'll get back to you right away.
3. You will have three chances to pass any quiz or test before moving on with a poor grade.
4. Minimum scores required to move on to the next unit:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>> End of Semester (or course) Tests - 60%

If you have questions about your schedule, credits, graduation requirements or if you are just having a hard time adjusting, the VVHS counselors will be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am - 2 pm.
