This is a date change! We have rescheduled this event to Thursday to give students a free Friday evening. The evening schedule will be:

5:30pm-7:30pm - Rehearsal

7:30pm - Welcome and introductions

7:45pm - JV Drumline Performance

8:00pm - Varsity Drumline Performance

8:15pm - "Out of the Box" Debut!

6 Week Grade - THIS IS AN ELIGIBILITY CHECK! - September 20th

This is an eligibility check. Any student not passing all of their classes on September 20th with be ineligible to participate in all UIL activities from September 27th - October 17th. It is VERY likely that a primary marcher who becomes ineligible will lose their primary marching spot for the remainder of the competitive season.

All families are encouraged to attend. We will be discussing contest season expectations.

If you are planning to go to the game and want to hang with the band students, come chaperone with us! The sign up has all the games.

Background check is required and a chaperone form. These forms are in the Chaperone SportsYou group (codes below)

We will meet in the band hall at 4:30 on Friday. It’s always a fun time!

Hello PISD band families!

We are hosting our third annual Bands of America contest on Saturday, October 12! There are many volunteer opportunities for adults and students. Please scroll through them all and sign up where you are able.

All volunteers will start at the volunteer check-in table to get a wrist band and further instructions. Volunteers (with the exception of Concessions) will receive a volunteer t-shirt to be worn during your shift. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your shift to allow time for check-in.

**TIMES/NEEDS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE** as we learn more about the schedule. We appreciate your flexiblity and understanding.

As we get closer to the event, there will be a volunteer training meeting in the Community Room at Children's Health Stadium. Please attend if you are signed up in any position.

All titles below and clickable links

All students are required to submit a sports physical prior to the start of band camp. This is required for all students who are entering their 1st or 3rd year in the program. Students entering their 2nd and 4th year do not need to update their physical.

Physicals should be either handed to a band director or scanned and sent via email to a director prior to the start of band camp.

1. Confirm with your student that they have created their profile.
2. Share you student's fundraiser profile on Social Media.
3. Check in on the progress of your student's calendar!
