Congrats to our Networking & Cyber Security Operations Students
These six students recently earned their TestOut Security Pro certification through our Networking and Cybersecurity course. By passing the examination, the students demonstrated the knowledge required for an entry level IT security professional. The TestOut Security Pro Certification means you are capable of implementing layered security through group policy objects, access control lists, wireless and wired local area network security measures, and workstation and mobile device security measures.
Additionally, the students in the course out-performed their peers within the state of Indiana, as well students across the Nation. Our mean scores (1318), as well as our pass rate (60%), was truly impressive. By passing the exam, these students earned a real-world certification that they can list on a resume` or college application.

SHS Student to Have Art Displayed in Washington DC
We had four students recently compete in the Congressional Art Competition: Gracie Mulley, Jordan Bailey, Sydney Amburgey and Brennan Roberts.
Congratulations to Jordan Bailey, a talented junior, for winning First Place and the People’s Choice Award in the 2025 9th District Congressional Art Competition! Her stunning colored pencil drawing, “Peelin’ Myself,” earned her two round-trip tickets to Washington, D.C. for the opening ceremony!
Jordan’s artwork will hang in the Congressional Tunnel alongside winners from all 50 states for the next year — a truly incredible honor.
Great job to all four students that participated. They all had exceptional pieces of art!
Congratulations to the Newly Elected SHS FFA Officers
Congratulations to our newly elected Scottsburg FFA Chapter Officer Team. The candidates interviewed for their positions and were slated last week. Today our chapter members voted to approve the slate of officers. They will be installed next week at our chapter banquet!
