to the 2016 Anne Carragher Wellness Challenge

The staff at Wellness and Health Promotion want to take a moment to thank you for registering for the #SUWellnessChallenge - You're in for a great start to 2016 and winter quarter with this six week opportunity to challenge yourself to live a more healthy life and to win giveaways and prizes!
Each week, we will focus on a different area of wellness:
Goal setting
Physical
Emotional
Spiritual
Intellectual
Social
What's new this year?!
- Fewer, more connected events. Just three events per week, all of which will directly focus on improving your overall wellness. You can gain points by attending events.
- Simplified Scorecard. We've built our simplest online scorecard yet, it's mobile friendly and saves your progress.
- A focus on relationships. Lots of points for connecting with people and attending events together!
Info Session
Everyone is invited to watch the video-Information Session to learn more details about the Wellness Challenge . There is also an opportunity to earn points at the end of the video!
Newsletters
- Each Friday by 3pm we'll send you a Newsletter (which will look like this email) including the next week's events and updates about the Wellness Challenge so that you and your team can plan which event(s) you plan to attend.
Scorecards
Each team member is responsible for completing and submitting their weekly scorecard online by noon on Monday. Scorecards track your points - points give you opportunity to win prizes!
- You'll receive your personal scorecard link for the week each Monday at 1pm, starting on January 11th, the first day of the challenge (note: this is different than the newsletter).
- Don't forward this link, it's unique to you.
- Your progress is saved as you navigate between pages with the bottom buttons.
- Scorecards are due at noon every Monday following a week of the challenge!

2016 Kickoff Keynote with Aydian Dowling

Aydian is the first transgender man to appear on the cover of Men's Health magazine. He joins us to kick off the Anne Carragher Wellness Challenge as he shares his personal story regarding the Men's Health Ultimate Guy Contest - his goals, staying motivated, and overcoming obstacles. This event is free and open to the public - bring your friends and family.
Goal Setting Session

Casey Commons
This challenge is about you! Each participant sets a personal improvement goal and works toward that every week. Bring your lunch and join us for a brief goal setting session! Personal trainers will be available to answer questions and help anyone setting goals about physical wellness!

Anytime
Meet with your full team of 4 any time week 1 of the challenge to discuss your personal improvement goals and strategy for success. Discuss how you'll encourage each other to stay motivated and accountable. Plan what events you'll attend and schedule future team check ins. (schedule of events coming soon)
