RILINK WANTS YOU!
Join Our Advisory Board This Year!
RILINK is a unique organization, created and staffed by librarians with the sole mission to serve school libraries and school librarians in Little Rhody. We would love to add new members to our board, especially someone working at the high school level. We meet virtually once or twice a year. Most of the work is done through emails and surveys. Over the next year we will be revising the Strategic Plan in order to move us into a great new period of growth.
Reach out to Jackie for more information.
Thank you to Ellen Basso, Wendy Gustavel, Kristen Mitchell, Sue Scanlon, and Tasha White, who are continuing their service next year.
COMET SAYS...SORA IS A READER'S VACATION PARADISE
The RISOCKS/Sora Magazine Collection Includes 440 Titles!
Magazines are an easy way to incorporate current events into everyday reading. Consider using Sora magazine articles for Severe Weather distance learning assignments if your school participates in virtual days during inclement weather. Encourage your staff to explore the titles. It's a great supplement to Flipster for adults.
CHECK OUT THESE TIMELY COLLECTIONS!
