Last month, we held election week, and we are thrilled to announce our new class representatives! We listened to our student council members and are proud of these students for stepping up as leaders. Meet our Student Council representatives from Grades 3A to 8th:

We are also excited to announce that our student school president has selected 10th grader Aissulu Soltanova, and our student vice president has selected 9th grader Ilknur Kaygusuz. Congratulations to all of our elected students! We can’t wait to see the great ideas and initiatives they will bring to our school.
At Horizon Leadership Academy, we had an exciting and meaningful Bullying Awareness Week from October 1st to 4th! Kicking off with “Wacky Tacky Day,” students and teachers sported mismatched shoes, promoting our theme of “Be Kind, Stand Up, Speak Out!” The excitement continued with “Style Your Hair Crazy Day,” where students showcased their wildest hairstyles, filling the halls with creativity and spirit. We encouraged everyone to unite against bullying by wearing orange on Thursday, the national color for anti-bullying, and to top it off, Friday was all about putting a cap on bullying with our favorite hats! A special shout-out to Mr. Henderson's 2A class and Ms. Fernandez's kindergarten class for their incredible participation—they'll be rewarded with ice cream! Together, we're making a difference and fostering a safe, supportive environment for all! 💙🧡
As we approach the end of the quarter, we want to remind you that midterm exams will take place from October 7th to October 10th at @horizonleadership.academy. This is a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge and progress! Let’s support our students as they prepare for success!
