Dear Argyle ISD Staff & Community,
Monday night, Argyle ISD held its monthly regular board meeting. The AISD School Board met at 4:30 p.m. for an executive session prior to the open meeting. We are providing you with School Board Briefs and hope this valuable information on agenda and action items helps you to be a well-informed Argyle ISD community member.
Our Board of Trustees conducted the open portion of the regularly scheduled monthly board meeting at 6 p.m. President Sam Slaton established a quorum and our Pledges to the Flags were led by students from Argyle West Elementary. Trustee Leigh Ann Artho conducted the Opening Prayer, followed by a special performance from our incredibly talented AHS Remedy A Cappella Choir.
During the Consent portion of the Board Agenda, the Board unanimously approved a series of items related to different departmental areas. A full list of consent items can be viewed in the released agenda.

Consider approval of the 2023-2024 Financial Audit as presented by Hankins, Eastup, Tonn, and Seay.
Consider and Approve Furniture Refresh
Consider and Approve FDB (LOCAL): Admissions - Intradistrict Transfers and Classroom Assignments.
Additionally, the Board voted and approved the Middle School and High School Zoning Recommendation with an amendment. The approved zoning recommendation was amended to include Bonnie Brae Rd. and the Vintage Blvd. area (both located in the far northern part of the district). These areas will now be part of the US 377 East zone for both middle and high schools. The new zoning changes will begin for middle schools in the fall of 2026. For high schools, the changes will start a year later, in the fall of 2027. Argyle ISD will post a finalized zoning map on the district website in the coming days.
