ST. MARY PHOENIX NEWS

This week we celebrated our first school mass of the year. Fr. Rich presided over both masses held at the school. School mass was celebrated in the Activity Center at 9:30AM for students in grades 5-8 and at 1PM for grades K-3. It was a different experience for us all without singing but we were thankful Ms. Ann Giancola played familiar songs on the keyboard. We were all a little quiet but we will find our voices in the upcoming weeks.

We are highly impressed with the way the students are managing with the changes in the school environment. We have opened up other options on the playground because of their level of cooperation. We have made individual zones on the playground to allow for more variety of activities. Classes rotate to the different zones daily. We have only given 1 ice pack out since school has started. Scrip is a program, in which you can turn everyday purchases (groceries, gas, clothing, dining, home improvements, etc.) into fundraising dollars for St. Mary School while also receiving a rebate yourself. There are multiple options, including having virtual gift cards sent to your mobile phone or buying physical gift cards.

Current Promotion: Anyone who makes a gift card purchase from now until Tuesday, Sept. 15 will get an entry into a drawing for a $25 gift card. New enrollees who make a purchase will get an additional entry.

Next Order Date: Tuesday, Sept. 15. Order using Raise Right, paper order form to the office, or just email Sandy your order. Physical cards ordered will be available by Friday, Sept. 18.
