Dear Titus Family,

What a fantastic week we've had! As the weather shifted, we were able to enjoy some much-needed sunshine, and it was wonderful to see our students making the most of every moment outside.

Today marks the conclusion of our 2nd trimester, and we couldn't be prouder of our students’ hard work and growth. As we look ahead, we are excited to begin the third and final part of the school year starting on Monday. There’s so much to look forward to in these final months!

Next week, we’re especially excited about our upcoming Book Fair and Bingo Night, which promises to be a fun and engaging time for our school community.

As we enter this final trimester, I look forward to the many opportunities spring brings—new beginnings, growth, and excitement.

Hi Titus Community –

Spring weather has arrived, and the Titus Tigers are loving it. It was great to get outside with all different grade levels this week. There is a different energy that rolls around this time of the year, and I can tell we are feeling it!

This week I was able to spend some time in our first-grade classrooms for phonics instruction. I was filled with a tremendous amount of PRIDE seeing our teachers and students work so hard. Ms. Henry and Mrs. Nero hold all their students to a high standard and the students in their class have fun while learning. Thank you, Mrs. Nero and Ms. Henry, for all your hard work and allowing me to be a part of some awesome lessons!

Last Friday night I had such a great time at the semi formal. It was so fun seeing everyone dance and have a good time with their parents. I look forward to Bingo next week!

The time has come to sign up for our Second Trimester Reporting Conferences!

Our conferences will be held in person. Below you will find a link to the teacher’s schedule.

Please ensure you are choosing the correct STAFF member you would like to schedule with.

Once the teacher is chosen, you will be able to see all the available time slots per the calendar and can pick the time that works best for you.

Once submitted, you will be able to add an additional booking for a different teacher.

Lastly, you will receive a booking confirmation email where you can reschedule or cancel your time if necessary. For a video walking you through the steps please click the button below.

In Central Bucks, we are teaching writing in a systematic and explicit way. Writing develops along a continuum from simple to complex, and our goal is to provide clear and meaningful feedback about student learning on the progress report.

To that end, please look for an email from your child’s classroom teacher that explains the changes. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Registration Closes Friday, March 14th

March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day. The date 3/21 represents the genetic makeup of down syndrome – three copies of chromosome 21, instead of two. The chromosomes resemble socks which is why we represent this day with mismatched socks. On this day, please wear your mismatched socks to help us celebrate Down syndrome and raise awareness!

Saketh is very excited to share his interest in playing the mridangam, where he recently he performed in multiple concerts. The mridangam is a traditional percussion instrument that accompanies South Indian classical music. Last weekend, Saketh traveled to Pomona, NY on Saturday and Somerset, NJ on Sunday, where he accompanied 5 different groups and received much appreciation from the organization for his perseverance through the day.

Saketh and his family are thankful to all the teachers at Titus from where Saketh is getting more inspiration and encouragement to pursue activities outside of school.

We are an "A" or early school, and our hours are 8:35 AM to 3:15 PM.

The morning kindergarten session hours are 8:35 AM to 11:10 AM.

The afternoon kindergarten session will run from 12:40 PM to 3:15PM.

Please be aware that the school day begins at 8:35 AM in your child(ren)'s classroom(s). If you are a car rider in the morning, it is recommended that children are dropped off no later than 8:30 AM in order to get to their classrooms for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. If a student arrives in their classroom beyond 8:35 AM, they are considered tardy. Parents will need to come into the building to sign their child in if they arrive after 8:35 AM.

The adults supervising the car-rider drop-off line will be on duty until 8:32 AM. Students dropped off after 8:32 AM will more than likely not be able to make it to their classrooms on time for the start of the school day at 8:35 AM. Also, for safety reasons, students arriving to school prior to 8:15 AM, need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver. We ask that all students wait with their family member in the drop off line until 8:15 AM.

The HSA is looking forward to our Bingo night on March 20th and we are planning for a fun-filled evening. Unfortunately, due to capacity limits, we could not sell more than 300 tickets. However, you can still stop by Titus to get dinner at one of the amazing food trucks, stop at the Book Fair, AND try your hand at winning a raffle basket! The HSA is opening raffle ticket sales to all Titus families, so if you stop by for dinner or the Book Fair, visit our raffle table for tickets. We hope to see you there!

Performers, musicians, and everyone behind the scenes at each of CBSD's middle and high schools welcome community members to spring musical season across the district, beginning March 6 at Holicong and Tohickon Middle schools and closing on May 4 at CB West High School. In between, the district's other four middle schools and two high schools will stage their own performances for a total of eight unique musicals performed over 16 days and nights of theater in CB! The Central Bucks High School South Titan Thespians are proud to present Sweeney Todd, School Edition, on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, 2025.

Are you watching kids become too accustomed to using technology at too young an age? Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston saw this happening with her kids and wondered about the impact and the friction occurring in homes and schools around negotiating screen time. The result is "Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition." On Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in the Lenape Middle School auditorium, parents, guardians, and caregivers are invited to a screening of the film, which will kick off a CBSD series on digital wellness. Calling all kindergarten to 6th-grade students -- it's almost time lace up your sneakers for the first annual CB Kids Run event on Saturday, April 26 then get ready to TRI something new at the third annual CB Kids Triathlon on Sunday, June 8. Congrats to Barclay 5th grader David Martinez-Cortes for winning the March round of CBSD's lock screen contest! His original artwork inspired by the "Thoughtful Collaborators" attribute of CBSD's Portrait of a Graduate is featured on district devices throughout March. Students can now try their hand at winning the next round of the contest, inspired the "Adaptable Innovators" attribute. Submissions are due April 20. More details

Learn the latest about options for the capital needs at Doyle, Kutz and Linden Elementary schools and share your feedback with district leadership at the third town hall meeting on the subject on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at CB South. Notice is hereby given that the Central Bucks School District’s April 17, 2025 School Board Meeting has been rescheduled. The April School Board Meeting will be held on April 24, 2025. The location and start time remain the same: 7 p.m. in the board room of the district's Educational Services Center located at 16 Welden Drive in Doylestown, PA.

From January 1 through March 31, the GIANT Company invites customers to join in supporting its "Feeding School Kids" initiative by rounding up at the register. The GIANT Company will directly support customers’ generosity by matching all donations up to $100,000. The Barclay Elementary School Farmers Market is the beneficiary of the funds, which help to support families across CBSD's 23 schools.

Online registration for the 2025-26 school year is open for families of students who will be eligible for kindergarten in CBSD and students in all grades who will be new to CBSD next school year. Central Bucks School District recently made a change to the age of admission for student enrollment in kindergarten. Effective beginning the 2025-26 school year, students may be admitted to kindergarten who will be five years of age from September 1 through October 31. If you are a volunteer with a local fire company or nonprofit emergency medical service agency, CBSD wants to thank you for your service by helping reduce your property taxes as a result of a newly enacted Volunteer Service Tax Credit Program passed by the School Board in Sept. 2024. To qualify for the tax credit, volunteers must be active members of an eligible fire or emergency medical services agency and earn points based on their service. Learn more

CBSD welcomes qualified candidates to apply for a range of full-time career opportunities with benefits. Titus will expect all potential volunteers to complete their paperwork for clearances prior to assuming any volunteer/chaperone role within the school. This will ensure we are in line with district and state expectations.

Who Needs Clearances: An individual who is responsible for the child's welfare or has direct contact with children. Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children to obtain background checks and clearances. In the best interest of the safety and security of our students, Central Bucks School District required the submission of these clearances prior to volunteering during the school year. Approved volunteers are given an identification card to be presented at the school (along with your photo ID, such as a driver's license) when volunteering. Please allow 7-10 days after you have submitted your online application for receipt of the ID card.

Many students across the district currently have negative balances in their lunch accounts. We ask all parents and guardians to please check their MySchoolBucks account to view their balance and, if negative, to please make a payment. Even if you pack a lunch for your child(ren), they still may be purchasing cafeteria items.

To make a payment: Log in to MySchoolBucks and click MAKE A PAYMENT. Click CAFETERIA MEAL PAYMENT. Select or enter a payment amount. Click ADD TO BASKET. Click CHECK OUT NOW to complete the payment process.

For complete instructions on how to use your MySchoolBucks account, go to http://learnmyschoolbucks.com/Parent. You can also use MSB to monitor what your student is purchasing for breakfast and lunch and check your child(ren)'s account balance(s). If you have questions or concerns related to your child(ren)’s account(s), please call the Aramark Food Services office at 267-893-5758.
