April Update
Principal Update!
Welcome April!!!
They say April showers bring May flowers! Let's hope this is true. Hopefully all the rain we have been experiencing will turn into beautiful weather for the students to explore. With the new park adjacent to our school, we are hoping the weather allows us to take some of our learning outdoors. Due to the unpredictable weather, please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the warmth or cold.
With the week off later in the month, April is fast moving. We have many activities planned for this month. Please be aware that there are several one session days to accommodate the parent teacher conferences, teacher professional development, and the day before the long break. Pick up on one session days is firmly 12:05. Please make arrangements to arrive on time, as we do not have additional staff to supervise students that are not picked up on time.
Finally, if you have not done so yet, please complete the district re-proofing to ensure your child's placement in the Garfield School District for next year. If you need assistance, please let me know.
We look forward to another great month at GPPA 3. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
In Partnership,
Valerie Stewart
