Impact Aid Clarification / Information
As in the past, classroom/homeroom teachers who have 100% completion for Impact Aid for students in their classroom can earn a $100 classroom incentive.
We've had some questions about why parent information says the form only has to be done once for every family, but teachers are asked to ensure that it's been done for every student in their classroom. Here is the scoop:
The Impact Aid form only has to be done ONCE per family, no matter how many students they have enrolled in the District.
If a family completes the Impact Aid form in Skyward, it will show as complete for EVERY student in the family.
If a family completes the Impact Aid PRINTED form, Skyward will be updated and it will show that it was completed for all students in the family.
Ideally, families will complete it online in Skyward so this is a non-issue.
Skyward will be updated as soon as the forms are received by the District office so it is ESSENTIAL that teachers turn in any printed Impact Aid forms they receive to their office staff ASAP! This will help ensure that the reports run will be accurate, and we won't be bugging families who have already completed the form!
Questions? Please talk to your school's OC. Thank you!
Your help is needed!
As you communicate with families about conferences, please make sure they have the correct dates for the non-student day and conferences!
As previously communicated, there is an error in this year’s printed wall calendar!
- October 25 and 31 are regular school days - NOT non-student days.
- The November calendar is correct: November 1 is a non-student day and conferences are November 7-8.
You can download the corrected October calendar page or the 2024-25 academic calendar (last updated in August) here.
Thank you for your help! We apologize for any inconvenience.
