Kentucky Trail Elementary
April 2025
Hello KT Families,
Can you believe we are already in the last two months of the school year? It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming our students back to school. It is important to finish strong this school year, and we encourage you to continue to support your child's learning at home.
Also to note, KT students in 3rd and 4th grade take the MAP test each spring. Here are some details below:
MAP Testing Dates
Students in Missouri are tested each year in various subject areas. The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) is what Missouri uses to determine whether or not a student meets standards in specific areas such as English Language Arts, Math, and Science.
Kentucky Trail testing for 3rd and 4th grade students will be from April 28- May 15.
Please note these dates on your calendar and make every effort to have your child(ren) present at school and on time on these dates. Our past successes on the state assessments have been partly due to our families ensuring their child(ren) is in school and prepared for testing.
As always, we greatly appreciate the support and dedication from each parent here at Kentucky Trail! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Wishing you well,
Dr. Winkelmann
Principal, Kentucky Trail
