Our middle school teams competed in the first-ever NSBC Middle School tournament today (Sunday) Rebman Recreation in Lorain. Both our A & B teams finished 2nd in their divisions!
The Keystone A team bowled very well in their first tournament. Our two regular games (680 & 665) were right around our team average for the year. The team went into the Baker games trying to beat their own KMS record of 165 set earlier this year. The first game was a solid 151, which gave them a ton of confidence. They broke the record in the second with a 178, one of the highest Baker games thrown by any team today. The third game was a solid 141 for an overall score of 1815. We finished second with 37 points for the season. Congrats to Firelands, who finished 1st with 49 points. Gavin Toothman had high game (184) and high series (332).
The Keystone B team had a pretty solid day as well. Our two regular games were 440 & 454. Our Baker games were 79, 89 & 78 for an overall score of 1140. Gray McDowell had the high game (125) and high series honors (240).
