Message from Mrs. Harp
Penngrove Community,
I can't believe we are down to ONE week left in the 23/24 school year! πThis year has been full of twists, turns and triumphs, and we came out on top as a team! π€©
I hope you can join us for Penngrove in Motion Monday morning at 8:25am on our blacktop. Parents will be encouraged to remain to the sides with their child's class so as to ensure all students can see the stage. We also hope you can volunteer at Field Day on Tuesday! It's looking to be a HOT day, so please make sure to send students slathered in sunscreen.
Yearbooks will be delivered early next week- they look great! Thank you to our Yearbook team for all their hard work!
Please be sure to check the last and found if you are on campus in the next week. It will be located in the lower family parking lot. We will be donating items after the end of the school year.
Lean in,
Carley Harp
Lost & Found
HUGE THANK YOUs
to our Lost & Found Volunteer Team: Monica Goodell, Ashley Burleson, Mary Ebert, Shannon Bean, for helping keep everything organized & under control this year!
Library Volunteers Needed
Yay, we're working hard to get the new library all ready for next year.
Feel free to sign up for a slot to help or pop in anytime you see me around. -Mrs. M
THANK YOU!!!
Field Day Schedule
We LOVE volunteers!
Sign up to help on one of the most anticipated days of the school year
We recommend volunteering during time slots that do NOT happen during your kids activities- so for example- if you have a kiddo in 1st grade, sign up to volunteer when the 5th graders are out. This way you can volunteer & still be available to play when your panthers are having fun.
Thank you for supporting the Class of 2025 & congrats to the winners!
π± Garden Update π±
Hello Panther Families!
If your student is interested in continuing with the Lost Ladybug Project at home please visit www.lostladybug.org!
Please sign up on either or both of these google docs to help me check on the gardens over the summer:
(TK/K link this site does not have irrigation I would really appreciate some sign ups!)
(Main garden link)
I really appreciate the help and its good to keep eyes on the garden space and its a great way to connect with campus over the break. Bring your kids and have a picnic and play!!
With gratitude,
Ms. Ortiz/ Amy Ortiz

SUMMER READING ALERT
Every year Penngrove participates in a schoolwide wishtree inspired by this wonderful book.
Ask your student about it!
This summer we're trying to see how many Panther families can enjoy this story over summer break!
Stop by the office anytime for a free copy to take home.
It's a heartwarming and fun story to read together or solo and perfect for all ages.
Reading Kit Request
We're so excited to introduce Penngrove Reading Kits this year. This is a fun way to bring new books home to read as a family, support a struggling reader, encourage a love of reading, or just for FUN! If you're curious which kit would be best for your reader, don't hesitate to reach out to their classroom teacher.
Detailed description of these kits are here. Otherwise, feel free to browse the kits in the office or reach out to Mrs. M with any questions at amiljkovic@petk12.org. There are multiple kits at most levels with different titles to keep things interesting :)
Families can check out 2 kits per student at a time and return in 2 weeks.
