However a couple of important notes:
1. You MUST add your student(s) FIRST before you can order. Once you log-in, go to "Student" and then "Add a Student" Select the school, grade/teacher and then fill out your student's first and last name.
2. Once you add your student(s), then you can go to "Order" and order for your student(s).
3. All lunches will come with plain potato chips.
4. Hot lunch will start the week of May 8 and we will have it for 2 weeks during this test. Please email djpto13@gmail.com if you have any questions.
5. Orders must be placed by the Sunday night prior to the week of hot lunch.
Doctor Dogs has worked really hard to create this website and partner with us. They are a local, family-owned business and we are very excited to work with them.

Lead Like a Jaguar
At DuJardin, we want students to become leaders who model a positive attitude (growth mindset), set and achieve positive goals, understand and manage emotions, show empathy for others, and make responsible decisions (solve problems). Teachers will be using the Second Step curriculum & other resources to help ensure our students #LeadLikeJaguars.
Focus for March 20 - June 2: Problem Solving: Students learn how to manage strong emotions to feel calm before solving problems, how to describe a problem and identify the wants and needs of those involved, how to think of many solutions and explore their potential outcomes, and how to pick the best solution.
Click here to view our #LeadLikeAJaguar focus for this week. OPTIONAL Lesson.

Message from Nurse Rosero
Nurse Email: jrosero@sd13.org
Student Needs:
Please inform the nurse of any allergies or sensitivities to foods, medications, and environmental allergens. If there are any pertinent details of your students' health that you feel the nurse needs to know, please reach out and discuss this with the school nurse. This information can be helpful to better support your student throughout the day, if certain situations arise.
About Your Student’s Medication:
The district's medication administration policy mandates that all medication to be administered at school requires an MD order, this includes over-the-counter medications. Students may NOT keep over-the-counter meds in their backpacks or in their lockers--including cough drops, Advil, etc. This is an important safety concern! Please review the policy included in the registration process.
If your student requires an inhaler, Epi-Pen, or any oral medication, please obtain the medication form and appropriate health care plan from your physician when your child has their exam. Forms may also be obtained on the district website.
Excused Physical Education Class:
Please note that all PE excuses need to be sent to the Nurse's Office. A parent may excuse a student from PE for up to 3 days. (consecutively) Thereafter, a Doctor's note is required.
Calls home from the Nurse:
Phone calls home are warranted in the event of a head injury, minor or major
All in school sickness including fever of 100.4 (oral) or greater, vomiting and/or diarrhea
Please prepare to keep your child home until:
Fever-free for a full 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication.
Vomiting and diarrhea has ceased for a full 24 hours
Please refer to the General Health Guidelines which can be found on the district website
If you chose to have your child tested for COVID while here at school a NEW consent form for this year must be filled out. Consent Form for Minor

Assessment Data - Student Progress
On the District Website parents can review district MAP Assessment Data from the 2021-2022 school year. By visiting the Illinois School Report Card Website parents can review school and district 3rd-5th grade data in regards to the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), state assessment.
