Music Adjudication- Our advanced orchestra has their adjudication on March 14th at Gaithersburg HS.

Outdoor Ed Meeting for Parents/Caregivers of 6th Graders- Join us on Zoom on Wednesday, March 20 at 6:30 PM to learn all about outdoor education for 6th graders. Zoom link here.

Morning Bus Evacuation Drills- Students will participate in bus evacuation drills upon their arrival to school on March 21.

Music Adjudications- On March 21, our advanced band will be performing at Seneca Valley HS and our choirs will be performing at Gaithersburg HS.

Book Wars- Our two-time book wars champions defend their crown on Thursday, March 21 at Silver Creek MS. Go be great.

Multicultural Night- Join our Minority Scholars Program, the NAACP Parents Council and the members of our beautiful, multicultural community on Thursday evening, March 21 at 6 PM. Share information about your country or culture, or even a country you would like to learn more about and earn SSL hours! Register here.

Last School Day Before Spring Break- Friday the 22nd is a full day of school. It is the last day before spring break.

• The Keeping It Safe Student Video Contest (Deadline: March 31, 2024) is now open! Students may earn 5 SSL hours for quality video submissions. Interested students may view the contest rules and additional information at this link.

• The Living Organ Donor Video Contest (Deadline: March 31, 2024) is now open! Students may earn 10 SSL hours for quality video submissions. Interested students may view the contest rules and additional information at this link.
  
  

• C&O Canal and Potomac Riverside Cleanup - April 13, 2024 (9 AM - 12 PM) - Join us as we work together to clean up the Potomac River and its huge watershed area! Some of the many cleanup sites in our region are in your backyard! Students may earn 3 SSL hours for participating. Interested students may view additional details and sign up at the following link.

• Earth Day SSL Opportunity (April 22, 2024, 9:30am - 2:00pm) - Build the first MCPS farm, and earn SSL hours while giving back to the Earth! Students may earn 4.5 SSL hours for participating. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided. To learn more, please click here
