FROM OUR PRINCIPAL, MS. FOUNDAS
Dear Happy Hollow Families,
Congratulations to our third-grade string players and Ms. Tandon! Our musicians did a remarkable job on Tuesday during their first-ever performance. Their excitement was evident as they played with big smiles and enthusiasm—a true testament to the hard work they have been putting in.
For our next PTO Coffee, I am excited to partner with the PTO and our BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), Liz Korandonis, to host a discussion focused on supporting students' behaviors at home. Please take a moment to complete this anonymous Google Form to let us know which topics you would like us to discuss.
A big thank-you to the PTO and parent volunteers for supporting our upcoming Gratitude Breakfast. This cherished tradition truly strengthens our sense of community, and we couldn’t do it without your help and dedication!
As we approach the holiday season, we recognize that while this time of year can bring joy, it can also be challenging for some families. At Happy Hollow, we have a longstanding tradition of helping families in financial need during the holidays. Our school counselors, Lucy Robison and Eileen McManus, manage a fund created by staff to purchase gift cards for groceries, clothing, or gifts for families in our community who may be struggling to cover seasonal expenses.
If financial hardship is impacting your family at this time, please reach out to Lucy or Eileen. All information will remain strictly confidential.

Here is this week’s newsletter, which I hope supports your future planning!
