WHERE ARE THEY WEDNESDAY?
This week for "Where are They Wednesday" we are recognizing LV Viking Booster Club Scholarship Recipient, Stella Robinson, a 2023 graduate of Lago Vista High School! During her time at LVHS she participated in volleyball and softball. Stella is currently attending Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. She is playing volleyball and studying Early Education. Stella expressed that she is “thrilled to be a RiverHawk and loving school and VB in Pennsylvania!” After College in PA, she plans to study abroad and then teach Kindergarten or 1st grade.
When asked why the scholarship was important to her, Stella responded, "The LV Viking Booster Club Scholarship is helping me achieve my goals of playing college volleyball! My family and I are thankful for the extra funds that help cover the demanding expenses of a far-away, private college.” Stella said, “I had such a great time as a member of the volleyball and softball teams during my four years at LVHS. I spent most of my time at practices, in games, and on long bus rides. I made great friends in each program. I loved representing my school and my community in the competitive atmosphere of each sport! I will always cherish the relationships and memories from LVHS!”
We are so proud of what Stella accomplished at LVHS and know she's going to be a huge success at Susquehanna University and beyond. We wish you all the best, Stella!
