Our first "HOUSE" Celebration Day will take place on Friday, November 22nd. This will be a fun filled day. Celebrate with your WACKIEST house color outfits...tutus,. glasses, hats, tights, headbands, etc!

**We are looking for PARENT VOLUNTEERS for our first HOUSE CELEBRATION DAY. 3-5 grades will be in the AM session from 8:30-11:00 am and K-2 will be in the PM session from 12:30-3:00 pm. Please consider volunteering by clicking here.

Any volunteers working in the afternoon session AND wish to take their child home MUST submit a change of transportation to the front office no later than Friday November 22nd by noon.

The room/activity you sign up for is where you will remain for the entire session. Parents are going to be helping students with each activity accordingly. All students will visit each activity (so don’t worry! You will get to interact with your child when they arrive to your room.)

***Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session to get all information needed for your activity.

We are sorry to say that siblings will not be able to attend this event.

As we encourage our children to embrace the spirit of giving, we invite you to join us in supporting our Socks-for-Smiles donation drive!

Our Student Council members in grades 3-5 are proudly collecting, counting, and donating socks for Clothed by Faith, a wonderful local organization that helps those in need. We would greatly appreciate your support by sending in new socks to help spread warmth and smiles in our community.

Together, we can teach our Mavericks the importance of generosity and compassion!

T3 Series Family Event (ZOOM): As part of the Title III initiatives, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is offering a family engagement event for parents of emergent bilingual (EB) and immigrant students in grades PK-12.

This family outreach and training provides parents with the required parent and family literacy services, activities, and trainings needed to improve their English language skills. Click here to register.

Please join us at Raising Cane’s on Thursday, November 14th from 4-9pm. They have generously donated two baskets filled with goodies to raffle off to everyone that comes out and supports us. One basket is for MRE staff and the other is for MRE families and friends.

Learning, eating and using the restroom can be messy for young students. Please send the following items so we can be prepared for a messy situation at school.

Although bathroom accidents are more common in younger children, ALL children at MRE should have an extra set of clothes. Nosebleeds, vomit, and and messy situations happen!

We aim to return students to their instructional setting quickly! Having a change of clothes ensures that students are not waiting for long periods of time in the clinic as they wait for parents to bring clothes to campus.

Please ensure that the school nurse is updated with any changes to your child’s medical information. Remember to ensure that the school has correct and updated phone numbers where you can be reached; and that you have added emergency contacts to your child’s enrollment information card.
