Meet the Teacher for 5th graders will be on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM. We are so excited to welcome our families.

This is a come and go event.

Homeroom teachers will send out an email Thursday morning with a warm welcome to your new homeroom and learning community. If you did not receive the email - someone will be available in the cafeteria and will share that information with you.

Come and Go Event for students/parents

If your family is unable to attend Meet the Teacher, your child will receive his/her schedule/school supplies the first day of school.

Plan for Event:

Learning Community

• Parents / Students may go directly to Learning Community

We ask that all families complete Info Snap prior to picking up student schedule. We will have computers and someone to help you complete the Info Snap process.

• Receive a copy of schedule
• School Supplies (ordered through EPI – placed in homeroom) If you have purchased your own individual supplies, you may bring them to drop off in the classroom.

Cafeteria

• PTO – available to answer questions
• PTO will have instructions on how to order Collins Spirit Wear

Bank of Computers: Register for Bus Transportation, Complete Info Snap – First Day Paperwork Requirement, Register for Parent Access

Nurse

The nurse will be available in the clinic for you to drop off medications and any paperwork.

Parking

We suggest you park in the back of the school. The drive way is located off Gosling next to the fire station. This is the main entry into Meet the Teacher

If a family purchased EPI school supplies they will find the packet delivered to the child's homeroom class during Collins Express.

Collins Intermediate could not exist and thrive without the investment of our amazing parents. The PTO is an outstanding way for you to volunteer and invest in our Collins students and teachers. We are so thankful to our PTO leadership for their guidance and dedication to Collins.

Collins Intermediate PTO Meeting Dates for 2024-25 School Year- all begin at 1:30 pm in the Collins Café at Collins. Most are on the second Monday of the month but not all so please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
