MONDAY 9/16/24: INTERNATIONAL DOT DAY
The Dot is a popular children's book that encourages creativity and for students to "make their mark" in any capacity by expressing who they are. This is something that is very important to us at Monteith because we believe every child is a leader in their own unique way and we want each child to be the best for the world and leave their mark on the world!
Dot day is celebrated yearly on September 15th, since the 15th is a Sunday Monteith will be celebrating on Monday the 16th. So please wear your Polka Dots to help us celebrate how truly special each one of our Monteith Tigers truly is to the world!
Monty's Corner: Thank you!
Dear Tiger Families,
Thank you to all the families that joined us for Back to School Night! It was a great evening and it was a wonderful opportunity to see returning families and meet many of our new families. The school year is off to a great start. If you were unable to join us here is a link to my Back to School Night Video: Dr. Keelean Welcome Video
We are looking forward to Kicking off our PTO Fun Run Fundraiser next week so please remember to look in back packs on Monday to get all of the information about this event.
Evacuation Drill Information for next week:
On the morning of Friday 9/20/24 is Monteith's whole school evacuation drill. Please do not come to school or call the office during the drill so our staff and public safety officers can remain focused on the drill and our students’ safety. Please plan ahead as students cannot be released for appointments during the drill. The district will notify you when the drill is complete and students are back in class. Thank you for partnering with us to provide a safe and secure learning environment.
