Dear Ira B. Jones Families,

This is our last week before winter break, which runs from December 23 – January 3. Let’s finish strong with an exciting and festive week ahead!

Last week, you should have received:

• A Memo titled “Celebrating Our Students' Growth and Success”: This highlights key achievements from the past school year and shares valuable information about how we’re supporting student learning.
• A Postcard featuring our new magnet logo and pillars: These reflect our mission, vision, and the cohesive, meaningful learning experience we provide for our Global Scholars.

I encourage you to take some time to review both the memo and the postcard to celebrate our collective successes and learn more about this exciting new chapter for our school.

📢 Schoolwide Pep Rally

The week will culminate with a schoolwide pep rally on Friday, December 20th, where we’ll unveil the winning design for our new school logo mural!

🎨 Mural Voting – Be Part of the Decision!

We’re excited to announce that our entryways will soon feature brand-new murals of our school’s new logo—and everyone gets a say in choosing the designs!

• Voting Details:
  • Voting runs Monday, December 16th – Friday, December 20th during your child’s regular library time.
  • Students will review six amazing designs in the media center and cast their vote using a token.
  • The winning mural design will be revealed during the pep rally on Friday!

🎂 November and December Birthday Celebration

We’ll be celebrating all November and December birthdays on Thursday, December 19th, at 2:00 PM in the auditorium lobby with cake!

🧥 Lost and Found Reminder

Please remind your child to check the Lost and Found for any missing items this week. All unclaimed items will be donated after Friday, December 20th.
