LET'S TALK ABOUT IT: HAPPY NEW YEAR
Society often pushes us to make changes every January. People post their New Year’s resolutions on social media, talk about it with family and friends, and promise themselves and others that this will be the year they accomplish their goals. The thing is, resolutions are rarely kept beyond the second Friday of January. Too often, we set goals for ourselves, and when we don’t meet them, we may have feelings of failure that can ultimately take a toll on our self-esteem, which can trigger stress and anxiety and then take a toll on our mental health. Read more about how to cope with this anxiety here: https://www.mvpschools.org/services/student-support#fs-panel-26255
