CBA Elementary Lion Link 🐾
Your link between home and school | December 6
Hello CBA Elementary Families,
Welcome back to school! We hope that everyone had a restful break full of family, friends and traditions. We truly enjoyed welcoming our students and families back on Monday. It was heartwarming to hear about their Thanksgiving break and the many things they are looking forward to this holiday season.
Thank you for attending our recent Parent-Teacher Conferences! These valuable meetings provided an opportunity to connect with your child's teacher, discuss their academic progress, and explore ways to support their learning at home. A strong home-school connection is essential for student success. By working together, we can create a positive and supportive learning environment that empowers your child to reach their full potential. We appreciate your support.
We want to extend a huge congratulations to our Kindergarten and 1st Grade students for their incredible performance in the Winter Concert, "Snow"! Their talent, enthusiasm, and hard work truly shone through. A special thanks to Mrs. Catalano for her dedication and guidance in preparing the students for this wonderful event. This experience not only showcased their musical abilities but also helped them build important life skills like confidence and teamwork. We're so proud of each and every one of you!
Finally, thank you to our fifth grade Leading Lions for braving the cold for this week's First Friday! Students welcomed families to school with a smile and a small gift for families, setting the tone for an amazing day! What a way to wrap up the week!
We hope that everyone who heads out to the West Chester Christmas parade tonight has a wonderful time! CBA will be out on the town this weekend at the Chester County Parks and Recreation Santa at the Square Event. Join us at Marshall Square Park on Saturday from 4:30-6:30pm for games and fun!
Thank you,
The CBA Team

Leading Lion
This student is a real star in the classroom! They’re super responsible and always stay focused on their work. They’re a hard worker who’s determined to do their best. We noticed an area where they could improve, and they’ve worked really hard to get better.
They’re also a great leader who helps out their classmates and keeps the classroom fun and positive. They always have a smile on their face and are respectful to everyone.
Congratulations to Philip M., Pre-K 2!

A Message from CBA PAC
Hi CBA Family,
As we continue this season of gratitude, we’re excited to roll out the red carpet and treat our teachers like the 🌟 STARS 🌟 they are!
This holiday season, the PAC is organizing a donation drive to sponsor gifts and a luncheon for all our teachers and staff. 100% of the funds raised will go directly toward this celebration.
How You Can Help:
If you’d like to contribute to our CBA Holiday Drive, you can make a donation online here, or via Venmo at @CBAPAC. Donations will be accepted through Friday, December 13th.
Per tradition, the Holiday Donation Drive is an annual effort to present a joint gift from all CBA families, replacing individual gifts for teachers.
Volunteers Needed:
We are also looking for parent volunteers to help cover classrooms so our teachers can enjoy lunch together. If you can assist from 12:00–1:00 pm on Friday, December 13th, please sign up here.
FAN MAIL:
Finally, we encourage students to write "FAN MAIL" to their teachers, specialty teachers, administrators, and staff to thank them for everything they do throughout the year.
Thank you for helping us show our sincere gratitude to the wonderful individuals who make CBA so special!
With appreciation,
The CBA PAC
