Planet Ford Stadium Safety and Security Reminders
Planet Ford Stadium Policies and Guidelines listed below:
No firearms allowed
State law and school district policies will be in effect concerning alcoholic beverages and controlled substances
The use of tobacco products in any form is prohibited on all school district property (State Law)
Glass bottles/containers are prohibited in the stadium and parking lot
Items such as frisbees, balls, whistles, etc. are not allowed
Umbrellas are prohibited in the stadium
No portable seating or furniture is permitted

Varsity Basketball Update
The Dekaney Lady Wildcats lost to Spring 65-17 on Friday in District competition. Tuesday’s contest saw the Lady Wildcats fall to Aldine 49-30.
The Dekaney varsity Boys lost a district rivalry contest to Spring HS Friday night by the score of 69-39. The loss leaves the Wildcats at 1-2 in District competition as they defeated Aldine last Tuesday by the score of 66-50.
The Spring Lady Lions defeated Dekaney on Friday night 65-17. The win keeps the Lady Lions in 2nd place with a 4-1 District record. They defeated MacArthur earlier in the week. 38-29.
The Spring varsity Boys defeated Dekaney by the score of 69-39 on Friday for their 1st district win of the season. The Lions lost to MacArthur earlier in the week 74-67.
The Westfield Lady Mustangs defeated MacArthur Friday by a score of 58-16. They are undefeated in district play at 5-0 and 13-3 on the season.
The Westfield Boys lost on Friday 1/6 to MacArthur by a score of 70-63. They defeated Eisenhower earlier in the week by a score of 91-88. They are currently 1-2 in District competition.
Middle School Basketball
Middle School Basketball returned after the break with the Girls continuing play on Saturday 1/7. In 8th Grade A competition, Bammel defeated Wells, Twin Creeks defeated Claughton and Sringwoods Village defeated Dueitt.
Varsity Soccer Update
The Westfield Lady Mustangs were 1st Place Champions of the CE King Panther Kick Off Classic this past weekend. During their Championship run, not a single team scored on them the entire tournament shutting out every single opponent.
