Quality Quad Time at Union Middle
Lunch! In the Quad! With your child! Awesomeness!
Lunch with your student at UMS!
Our Book Faire is scheduled for October 21st to October 25th... and that means it's time for our Seventh annual Quality Quad Time (QQT) at Union Middle School!
What, you ask, is QQT?
Modeled after Carlton's Lunch with a Loved One, Union Middle's QQT will be held in the Academic Quad during our lunch period. Parents/Guardians can bring a picnic blanket, an umbrella for shade (if you have one), and lunch to share with their student (and their UMS friends, if you want). See below for a sample picture from Union Middle's event from the past years.
Tuesday, October 22nd @ 12:38 pm - All Grades Student-Parent QQT
If you would like to attend this event, please arrive at the Union Middle main office at least 20 minutes prior to the lunch bell to sign in and make your way to the Academic Quad. The closer you are to the lunch bell, the more likely you'll be waiting in line to check in. Feel free to arrive as early as 30 minutes before lunch to avoid the rush.
There is a big requirement to attend this (or any other on-campus during the school day) event: Every visitor must sign inside the main office to receive their official (!) visitor sticker. This includes scanning your driver's license, so please don't forget to bring it.
There is a slight caveat to this requirement... have you already signed in before at the main office this year? If so, you can fill out this form and we will print you out your visitor sticker for you ahead of time. This means you'll be able to bypass the line and go directly onto campus for lunch. If you want to stop by the office in advance of 10/22 to take advantage of this shortcut and then fill out the form linked above, you may do so.
Lunch is 30 minutes; please don't forget to check out the UMS Book Faire in the library during your visit!

We look forward to seeing you at Union Middle School in three weeks for Quality Quad Time with your student!
