This Month's Panther Focus: "Kindness"
Hello PV Families,
Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you're enjoying Winter Break with your "babies." We have several exciting events coming up, so please take a moment to read through this newsletter in its entirety to stay informed about upcoming events, guidelines, opportunities, and all the wonderful things happening here at PV.
I would like to highlight the PTO’s Valentine treat for all our staff members on Wednesday. A huge thank you to the families who donated and to the PTO for organizing and setting everything up. Our staff truly felt the love, and we are so grateful.
A few more highlights: Mrs. Tracey and Mrs. Craig's kindergarten classes held a Super Reader Parade to celebrate their journey toward becoming super readers. And as a special surprise, our very own Superintendent, Dr. Carter, chose to celebrate her birthday with us! She spent the day reading Owl Moon to all our first-grade classes and got to join in the parade. See pictures below!
On that note, continue to enjoy the Break and we'll see all our students back here on Tuesday at 8:55.
Sincerely,
Esther & Jenna
Thank you PTO for your KINDNESS!
On Wednesday, our PTO had a special treat for PV Staff. Staff stopped by the faculty lounge throughout the day and enjoyed many special treats! We are so grateful for your thoughtfulness and kindness toward all of us.

Just a reminder that all students should have an extra pair of clothes (weather appropriate) in their backpacks at all times in case of a bathroom accident, food spill or getting wet at recess. Thank you!
Attached is information from our health office regarding head lice. We hope this information is helpful to families. If you have any questions about what to do if you find head lice, please reach out to your school nurse or pediatrician.
