Villa Education Trust
At the beginning of 2014, the VET opened South Auckland Middle School (SAMS), in Manurewa, having received permission from the Ministry of Education to operate a partnership (charter) school for priority learners. The school has a maximum roll of 180 students with a waiting list in place for both this year and next. As a partnership (charter school) SAMS is unable to accept enrollments from international students, however, the campus can be used for holiday courses and is able to welcome international students visiting for less than 2 weeks.
The Trust opened a second partnership (charter) school in 2015 across two sites in Henderson and Glendene (West Auckland). Middle School West Auckland (MSWA) has a maximum roll of 180 across both sites, one of which is a bilingual Te Reo unit.

International Students at Mt Hobson Middle School
Three international students are currently enjoying the niche educational provision, benefiting from the small class sizes in the boutique style school.
We are now accepting enrollments for the 2017 academic year. Places are limited to ensure class sizes remain no larger than 12 students per year group. Each child receives an individualised learning programme which is regularly reviewed and updated. I.T is included and available on site.
During Term 3, the Trust is looking forward to welcoming two groups of international middle years students. During their stay they will complete both ESOL classes and participate in the standard school timetable. The visitors will be home-stayed during their trip to ensure they experience the true Kiwi lifestyle. E-mail exchanges between students here in Auckland and those preparing for there visit in Hong King have already commenced. As a Trust we are able to design packages to suit various groups of both students and parents, ranging in duration and cost. Trips to local tourist attractions can be arranged along with professional sports coaching and music tuition. Specific learning styles and needs can also be catered for. Various accommodation options are available - contact Bruce Knox, International Manager, for further details and to discuss your requirements.
