Peachjar – New Electronic District Newsletter & Flyer Communication Platform
Last Friday the District launched a new electronic newsletter and flyer communication tool called Peachjar. The District's newsletter, "The Current" will continue to be delivered every Friday as an email that will also contain district approved flyers.
In addition to the weekly email, the district-approved digital flyers can be accessed on each school's homepage via the "peachjar flyers" button.
This green initiative will save our school tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. On top of that, posting school flyers in this electronic backpack removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.
No action is required on your part. You will receive a welcome email from our service provider (Peachjar) that includes a username and password. This is provided to give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to login to receive or view school digital flyers.
To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest you add school@peachjar.com to your email contacts. When you receive your first digital flyer, be sure to click “always display images.”
This system is used exclusively for distribution of The Current newsletter and school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose. Thank you for supporting our efforts to ensure parents are well informed about school programs, activities, and events.

Parents, guardians, caregivers, and staff welcome
How is a 504 plan different from an IEP? Is it "better" or "worse"? What if you don't have a diagnosis? How can you get the support your child needs? Come and get some answers.

Celebrate Bryant Elementary School
Calling all Bryant Beavers!
On Saturday, December 8, we will be celebrating Bryant Elementary School one last time before it is just a memory, and we need your help. Do you have old yearbooks, first/last day of school pictures, class pictures, t-shirts, field day ribbons, carnival prizes, photos, or anything else that you would be willing to share with us? The more nostalgia, the better!
Please drop off your labeled items by Friday, December 7 at the Bond Office:
4750 Jean Road, Pod E-2; LO
We will return your items on Monday, December 10.
Contact Jamie Harwood, Project Coordinator, with any questions.

SafeOregon
If parents are ever concerned about a student’s well-being, feel free to reach out to your principal. It is important to keep your lines of communication open and maintain strong partnerships between students, families, staff, and other resources.
SafeOregon also is an effective way to report a tip regarding safety threats or potential acts of violence to our students or schools.
(Students should also know that intentionally providing a false report is a serious offense.)
