Reminder there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Wednesday, November 27th, through Friday November 29th.

Wednesday, November 27th ~ PHS Office will be open from 7:00 AM-3:00 PM.

Monday, December 2nd ~ School will resume, which is a 5-8 day.

On Tuesday, December 10th we will have an ADJUSTED SCHEDULE for the Practice ACT (Sophomores and Juniors only):

• 9th grade through 11th grade will be at school all day.
• 12th grade will not need to be to school until 10:55.

• Any weather-related school closings, delays, cancellations, etc., will be posted on our Cancellations webpage.

Thanks to everyone that responded to the poll regarding on what night the Homecoming Dance should take place:

• 74.2% were in favor of keeping the dance on Saturday
• Compared to 25.8% to moving it to Friday night.

Therefore, the Homecoming 2025 dance will remain on Saturday night, October 4, 2025.

Since my last update on Cell Phone usage, we have seen an uptick in students using their phones when they shouldn't be. A few of the parents we have reached out to regarding multiple infractions, have since turned their child's phone off from 7:30 AM-2:45 PM. That is one way to ensure your child isn't on their phone during instruction time.

Please continue to talk to your child about their usage, as well as checking their daily/weekly screen-time; it helps a person visualize how much time is spent on the cell phone.

Our yearbook class, Quit Qui Oc will be taking Club photos on Friday, December 6th. Please talk to your child about being present during the time their club is SCHEDULED.

The Plymouth Education Foundation has collected wish lists from our staff throughout the district and compiled them by school:

Families and other community members can walk the PHS hallways and indoor track on school days this winter!

Before school:

• Indoor Track: 5:30-7:00 AM ~ November 4-March 21

After school:

• Indoor Track: Mondays-Thursdays ~ 4:00-7:00 PM, Fridays 4:00-6:00 PM ~ November 4-March 21
• Halls: Mondays-Thursdays ~ 3:00-8:00 PM, Fridays 3:00-6:00 PM ~ November 4-April 25

Park in the visitor lot in front or in the student lot (south end of the building) and enter Door 18 (Community Ed & Rec/District entrance). No fee, but please sign the roster located outside the Fitness Center each visit.

• School starts everyday at 7:35 AM and ends at 2:40 PM.
• Traffic with young, high school drivers sometimes leads to congestion, please give yourself and your students ample time to make it to PHS on time.
• Here is a map, with blue arrows, showing where parents can pick-up and drop-off students.

NOTE:

• Please pull in all the way around, like the blue arrows on the above map show.
• We have the curb space so please pull ahead and do not leave large gaps in the line.
