Join us for our next Coffee Chat with Mrs. K on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 7:45 am in the Naumann Library. Please remember all visitors need to bring their photo ID to check in with the front office. We will not have an RSVP for this event.

In honor of Grandparents Day, we invite grandparents or another special grownup to come and enjoy lunch with their grandchildren at school, on Monday, September 9th! Grandparents will need to bring their own lunch since school cafeteria service is not available for visitors at this time. Students can pack their own lunch, purchase cafeteria food, or you can bring them a special meal.

We are excited to share the information about our newest committee, the Educational Access Ambassadors (EAA)! The Office of Educational Access (OEA) is seeking to establish an ambassador group of LISD parents/guardians during the 2024-2025 school year. Additional information and the application link can be found here. This application will remain open until Thursday, September 5th at 5 pm.

Does your 3rd-5th grade child like to build, design, invent, create, perform, and work with a team to solve challenges? If so, they might be interested in participating in Destination Imagination (DI). Destination Imagination (DI) is an extracurricular, school-sponsored program that fosters creativity, team-based problem-solving skills and life skills for students. Leander ISD Destination Imagination is open to all students in third through fifth grade. Registration forms are now available on the Naumann QUEST website or your child can pick up a paper copy of the form in room 311 (Quest room). You may also print off the form at home and send it in that way. Registration is due Tuesday, October 1st.

Open PTA Positions
We still have a few PTA positions we would love to fill. We welcome EVERYONE who shares a passion for Naumann Elementary to volunteer! Fill out the interest form or email naumannelementarypta@gmail.com to let us know what position(s) you'd like more information about.

Volunteer Information
There are several opportunities for parent volunteers throughout the year and we really appreciate you helping if/when you are able. Leander ISD requires that all volunteers be registered and approved through their platform, Raptor. It just takes a moment to set yourself up for the year (on an anniversary renewal cycle). Next General PTA Meeting | September 24, 6:00 pm
We invite everyone to join us in the school library for the first meeting of the year! This will be a great opportunity to meet the new PTA board, hear about the exciting plans for the 2024-25 school year and catch up with friends.
Agenda items will include:

• Budget adjustments
• News and announcements....and more!
