Teacher Appreciation Week (TAW) May 5 - 9
Eagle Crest teachers and staff make magic for our kids every day. During TAW, we want to make sure they know how Wickedly Oz-some they are! Staff will be treated to gravity-defying fizzy drinks, an Over the Rainbow BBQ, and more!
PTO is looking for donations of food and drink and a couple of grill masters to make the BBQ a success! Click to sign up here.
On Friday, May 9th, we encourage students and families to give staff cards, drawings, notes of gratitude, and any other token of appreciation. PTO will be sending home a coloring sheet in Thursday folders. If you’re looking for ideas, check out our Staff Interest List. (Please know that gifts are never expected, and a note of appreciation means so much to staff.)
Want to help celebrate our staff, but are short on time? We are gratefully accepting donations to defray the costs of this special week. Donate here!

OPTIONAL CLASS PLACEMENT INPUT
At Eagle Crest, we very much value the support and partnership from families as we work together to provide a thoughtful and well-rounded education in every classroom, every day. When creating classes, staff take into account the academic, social, and behavioral strengths and needs of each student as well as creating balanced classroom communities. We would like to ask families for your thoughts related to your child's strengths and needs in regards to their learning as we determine class placements for next school year. Please Note: we do not accept requests for specific teachers. Please take a few moments to complete this optional survey, which will remain open until April 20th at 4pm.

Early registration allows us to plan effectively for teachers and resources by giving us a clearer picture of our incoming student numbers. We are also currently accepting students through open enrollment, so even if a family does not live within our immediate neighborhood, they may still apply to join our Eagle Crest community. To learn more and complete the enrollment process, visit SVVSD Enrollment. We are happy to offer Kindergarten tours—just contact the main office to schedule one. It’s always a joy to welcome new families to Eagle Crest!
