GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
2/21 Wednesday
EHT defeated Cherry Hill East in the first round of the South Jersey Group 4 playoffs 37-23. EHT was led in scoring by Lyla Brown who finished with 14 points. Averie Harding had 7 points, Ava Kraybill 6 points, Alina Gonzalez 4 points, Katie Keenan 4 points, and Mariah Newman 2 points to round out the scoring. EHT plays at home in their second round match up against Gloucester County Institute of Technology, Monday 2/26 @ 5:00pm.
2/22 Thursday
EHT defeated Vineland 64-40 to finish as co-champions of the CAL National Division (Division record 11-1). EHT was led by Lyla Brown who scored a game high 22 points including 4 three pointers. Scoring for EHT was rounded out by Averie Harding 14 points, Ava Kraybill 8 points, Alina Gonzalez 8 points, Katie Keenan 4 points, Skyler Wood 4 points, Kaitlyn Wiggins 2 points, and Reese Weiss 2 points. EHT improved its overall record to 22-4.
GIRLS SWIMMING
A big congratulations to the girls swim team for their impressive win against Ridgewood in the state semi-finals! They'll be competing at Rutgers on Sunday for the state championship at 10 a.m. Make sure to purchase tickets through the Rutgers box office (https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/SwimMeet/5080/) and register your vehicle for parking. All vehicles parking on Rutgers University property must be registered with Rutgers Parking & Transportation. Let's rally behind our team and cheer them on to victory!
WRESTLING
Peter Steed won the District 32 title at 113 pounds. Tyler Thomas was 2nd at 120.
We would like to wish wrestlers Peter Steed, Tyler Thomas, Besan Abuktaish, Cami Bird, Darlene Ho and Kylie Wright good luck this weekend as they compete at regions. The boys will compete at EHT on Friday and Saturday and the ladies will be at Pennsauken on Sunday.
BOYS WINTER TRACK
This past Tuesday night the Boys Track Team competed at the Eastern State Track Meet in New York City. Mike Simeon placed 6th in the Shot Put with a throw of 54 feet and the 4X800 relay placed in 14th place with a time of 8:13.
GIRLS WINTER TRACK
The girls’ track and field team traveled to NYC this week. The girls competed at the prestigious Eastern States Indoor Track and Field Championship at the Armory. Congratulations to Michaela “Kiki” Schlemo for her great finish in the mile, running 5:13.77 and placing 5th. A huge congratulations to our DMR! Our girls placed 3rd! They ran a season PR of 12:31.48. This qualifies them for the New Balance Indoor National Championship in Boston March 7-10! Congrats to Paige Pacquing, Amari Pinkett, Taylor Rooney, and Michaela “Kiki” Schlemo. The 4x400 consisting of Amari Pinkett, Samantha Reed, Jasmin Halim, and Taylor Rooney also did an outstanding job at the meet. The next meet is this weekend where Kiki Schlemo will run the 1600 at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL SPRING SPORTS IS MARCH 1ST.

· Physical Exams
· All Exams must be submitted digitally though your online registration.
· No hard copies, emails or faxes will be accepted.
· Re-Cert packets and COVID Forms are now part of the registration question/process. No hard copies needed.

It can take up to 7 days for exams to be reviewed and for the student athlete to be cleared to attend tryouts and/or begin practice. REGISTER NOW!

· Please review the appropriate registration dates for your interested season found on the registration page. · You do not need a physical to register, but must have an exam uploaded seven days prior to your first tryout.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS
Winter 2 sports include Co-ed Volleyball and Unified Basketball. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION FOR WINTER 2 SPORTS IS FEB 15. Practices will begin February 21. REGISTER NOW FOR WINTER 2!
