Middleton Update
October 31, 2024
Dear Middleton Families,
Today was a fun-filled day! Our day off tomorrow is well-timed for kids who may be a bit sleepy tomorrow. :) We have quite a few days off this month as we wrap up our first trimester!
- November 1: There is no school for students tomorrow because our teachers will be doing their own learning in professional development sessions as we continue to learn about our new literacy curriculum.
- November 11: Veteran's Day
- November 22: Teacher Work Day. November 21st marks the end of our first trimester (already 1/3 of the way through the school year!), so teachers will spend time on the 22nd working on progress reports. This gives families an early start to Thanksgiving break (November 25-29).
Enjoy your first three-day weekend of the month!

Safe Routes to School
Please take this 5-10 minute SURVEY to help us gather information about how our Middleton families travel to and from school each day. We are partnering with Safe Routes to School to help make walking and biking as safe as possible. Click on the survey link above for additional information. Your responses will be kept confidential and neither your name nor your childβs name will be associated with any results.
Car Drop-Off Line
To keep traffic running smoothly before and after school, the car drop-off line along the curb is for quick entry and exit only. If you'd like to walk your child to the front door, please park in a parking spot. Additionally, if your child needs assistance getting in and out of the car, please use a parking spot so traffic can continue moving along the curb. Thank you!
