• TOMORROW (Jan. 17) BV PTSA is having a fundraiser from 4pm - 8pm at Dave’s Hot Chicken (Madison Ave. in F.O.) to help raise money for Bella Vista PTSA GRAD NITE. Come grab some dinner and show your support!
• Calling all 9th, 10th & 11th Graders! Do you want a Summer Job earning $16.50 an hour while getting work experience that makes a difference? If you're interested in a Paid Student Mentor Internship position during summer school see the Office Student Bulletin Board or click flyer link Student Mentor Internship Program Flyer 2025.pdf to get more info., eligibility requirements and to scan the flyer QR code for an application. Applications are DUE February 14. Late applications will NOT be accepted.
• Attention Senior Athletes: The A. Dale Lacky Scholarship is now accepting applications. This is a prestigious scholarship awarded to graduating senior athletes who have excelled in academics, athletics, and leadership. Students need a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.7. Email athletic director, Becky Stewart at becky.stewart@sanjuan.edu for an application. Applications are DUE January 31.

• TODAY, come watch Boys Soccer play against Vista Del Lago here at BV. JV 2 game begins at 3:30pm, JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 7:30pm. Come show your bronco support!

• BV Boys Basketball have home games TODAY against Christian Brothers. Frosh plays at 4:30pm, JV at 6pm and Varsity at 7:30pm. Dress theme is Barbie/Ken. Come dressed up and show your support!
• The BV Track & Field Team is still accepting sign ups! See Coach U during the school day or go to the team website bvtrack.com and sign up. Team conditioning begins Tues., January 21 at 3:45pm in the stadium. Wear workout clothes.
• Students wanting to participate in any sports, including conditioning and practices, must be cleared through Sports Net and have a current sports physical on file before you can begin!

• Attention Seniors! BV is having a Cash for College Workshop January 22 from 6 - 8:00pm in the Cafeteria. Attend this FREE workshop to receive help completing the FAFSA or the CA Dream Act Application.
• The San Juan Unified Literary Magazine is currently looking for creative 9th - 12th grade students to share their voice with their writing or art. 2024-2025 theme: We are Dreamers. Students can submit their work to be published in the second edition of the San Juan Unified Literary Magazine for high school students. • El Camino H.S. will be hosting SAT Testing on Thursday, March 6 from 8:30–10:30am (check in time 8am) Interested students can register and purchase online tickets by scanning the flyer QR code or clicking the following link https://gofan.co/app/school/CA7922. Last day to register/purchase tickets is Friday, Feb. 14 at 4pm.
• Are you interested in possibly working in healthcare? UC Davis is hosting a Pre-Health Symposium on Saturday, March 08. This is a great opportunity for students to be able to meet and speak with various health professionals, health professional advisors and undergraduate pre-health students.
