Principal's Update
Hello England Families-
Happy New Year! We hope the break has been a time to connect with loved ones, enjoy the beauty of nature, share special moments reading together as a family, and reflect on the many things to be grateful for. These meaningful experiences help us recharge and set a positive tone for the year ahead.
As we dive into this new year, we remain committed to our shared goal: fostering success and belonging for every Leopard. Together, with your partnership, we can continue building a supportive and enriching environment where our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
A quick reminder that school resumes on Tuesday, January 7th, with a 7:35 AM start time. Our staff will return tomorrow for professional development to prepare for another great semester ahead.
If you didn’t have a chance to read our newsletter before the break, much of this newsletter remains the same to ensure everyone has the information they need as we start the semester. One of the key points we want to highlight again is the importance of your feedback. Growth is a continuous journey, and your input helps us strengthen what we do well and identify areas where we can improve.
We’d love to hear from you! Please take a moment to share your thoughts in this short campus survey. Celebrating our successes and recognizing areas for growth go hand in hand, creating a balanced approach that energizes and guides us as we move forward together. Your voice plays a vital role in this process, helping us build on our strengths while striving for continuous improvement.
We’re excited about the traditions we’ll continue this semester and new opportunities to connect as a community. Whether it’s upcoming events like Cultural Heritage Night or celebrating the day-to-day successes of our students, we know this spring semester will be filled with memorable moments.
Thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. Let’s make this semester the best one yet!
With gratitude,
Krystall Williams, Principal

PTA Update:
We have an exciting calendar of events and activities planned for the spring semester, and we can’t wait to connect with all of you! A heartfelt thank you to our amazing PTA for treating our staff to bagels and coffee tomorrow as we prepare for the semester during our professional development day. Your support makes such a difference, and we truly appreciate all that you do!
The PTA is excited to invite you and your family to participate in our traditional CHN 2025 Showcase! This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to celebrate cultures from around the world.
We are calling on all countries in our community to take part, and registrations are now open! The deadline to sign up is January 15th.
To participate, please complete the registration form.
If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out to the PTA CHN Committee at englandcnh@gmail.com.

Student Chromebooks:
As a reminder, please make sure to send your child back to school on Tuesday with their fully charged Chromebook. Thank you in advance for your support in this area.
Smart Watches/Cell Phones:
We would like to share a quick update regarding the use of smartwatches and phones on campus. To minimize distractions and ensure a focused learning environment, students will now be asked to keep smartwatches and phones stored in their backpacks during the school day.
This adjustment aligns with the protocols already in place at many elementary and middle schools and is intended to help students stay engaged in their learning and maintain a positive classroom experience.
If you have any questions or concerns about this update, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. Thank you for your support as we continue to prioritize the success and well-being of our students.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We truly appreciate the collaboration and partnership as we offer these opportunities for our Leopards. Your support makes all the difference!
We’re currently highlighting our cafeteria volunteer sign-up! Volunteers help our Leopards by opening containers, providing extra napkins and utensils, and even offering a little encouragement and assistance with cleanup after the occasional spill. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with students and show them that our community is here to support them. If you're interested in lending a hand in this important role, please use this link to sign up.
