Monday: Family Conferences

Monday & Tuesday: Early Release for K-5; Dismissal at 1:15 pm

Monday & Tuesday: No School for Ms Cahill, Ms Wilhelm, Ms Marsh's Classes

Wednesday-Friday: No School

The final day for fall conferences is Monday, November 25. Each family may choose if they would like an in person, a virtual, or phone conference.

All families are encouraged to schedule a conference to learn more about how their student is doing this school year.

We will raffle off pies and other desserts to our staff on Tuesday, November 26th. We are asking our families to consider dropping off store bought pies, or other desserts, on Monday, November 25th. Please drop off desserts at the main office anytime on Monday, November 25th.

Our next food distribution will be on Thursday, December 5th. Pickup is from 8:45-10:45 amin the school cafeteria. You must register with THIS FORM to receive a bag of food. If you have previously registered, you do NOT need to register again. Food distributions will be on the first and third Thursdays of each month. Please only register if you can pick up the food during those days and hours.

Many have asked what else the school needs in order to thrive. We appreciate your support! Below is our school's Amazon wish list. We are currently prioritizing outdoor and indoor recess games and equipment. When you purchase items, they are shipped directly to our school. Please share our list with your family and friends!

Join the Title I Office for the second Family Advisory Council Meeting of the 2024-2025 school year on December 4th from 6-7 PM via Zoom. We value your input as we continue discussing the Title I District Plan and finding creative ways to engage our school community. Student, Family, and School Services is very excited to provide "Parent Academy TO GO," a series of virtual presentations for families to participate and view at home.

Parent Academy TO GO is designed to inform and empower families as advocates and partners in their children's education. Workshops provide families with useful information and resources to support their children's academic and emotional well-being, as well as help them to be college and career ready. Through a variety of learning opportunities hosted by MCPS staff and community partners, we hope to strengthen our engagement with families and the community. We're looking for caring and passionate individuals to join our PTA board! We have openings for Recording Secretary, Delegate, and several Committee Chair positions.
