1st Graders Ready for Fund Run - 2025
Principal's Message
Hello Families,
Happy Friday and I hope you all have had a good week. It was great seeing so many of you today at our annual Duniway Fund Run. I had heard a lot about this event leading up to today and I was blown away by the effort and spirit of our student runners and walkers and the enthusiasm of our families and community cheering them on. A huge shout out goes out to Carrie Patnode and the army of volunteers who helped organize this event, including our PE teacher Lisa Kosher (who informed me she logged 8 miles worth of laps around the field today!!). Aside from this exciting event today, we had a great week at school. Classes in grades 3-5 are nearing the end of year state testing with all of these grades diving into the Math assessment starting on Monday. Next week will be exciting with our next monthly assembly on Wednesday and our next school spirit day on Friday (Beach Day!). We know that rainy skies are in the forecast for most of the weekend and next week and we are hopeful for sun on Friday! I hope you all enjoy a great weekend.
Sincerely,
John Melvin
