Viking Spotlight: Wolff Hoover
This week's Viking Spotlight is from a parent nomination...thank you, Mrs. Hoover! π€
Wolff decided on his own to up his math grade and went to Saturday school where he took the test and studied again and improved it back to what it originally was. Always striving to bring his grades to A's all on his own...in addition to always helping around the house without asking. Just an amazing, hard working kid . So proud!!
Viking Spotlight: Max Guerrero
This week's Viking Spotlight is from a parent nomination...thank you, Ms. Marin! π€
Max has had perfect attendance all school year. He is maintained an almost perfect GPA. He has competed in the quiz bowl and is in the MVA flag football team. All while continuing to be a great big brother and role model to his younger sister. He's a great son always helping around the house. No matter what the task is, Max puts 110% effort in everything he does. He is a great friend always giving advice and a caring human being, always trying to see the kind side of people. Although, he can stand firm on his opinions, he is never intentionally rude or disrespectful. I'm always proud of his accomplishments!
π Message from the Principal π
Vikings, weβve officially made it to the last full week of classes...well, technically 4 days! π Final exams begin next week, so I want every student to dig deep, stay focused, and finish strong! Whether youβve been giving it your all or know you still have some catching up to do, itβs never too late to make a positive impact on your final grades. Parents, your support is essential during this home stretchβencourage structured study time, help your child get plenty of sleep, and minimize distractions at home so they can give their best effort during this critical time.
For our 8th graders, these final two weeks are especially important for you as they determine whether or not you will be able to participate in the promotion ceremony on June 6th. Even if you received a Viking Gold letter last week stating you were on track for promotion, remember that status can quickly change if you donβt pass all six of your classes! For 7th graders, remember that any class you fail will have to be repeated in summer school or through credit recovery in 8th grade. Letβs lock in, lean on each other, and end this school year with pride and purpose. You've got this, Vikings!
Let's make it a great week, Vikings!! π
Take care,
Ms. Scott
