State Testing Continues This Week

It's Time to Show What We Know!

State testing continues this week. The second half of students will take their Math test. Students who miss their assigned testing day will be in make-up testing next week.

Every student has been provided their cohort assignment and testing schedule. Please touch base with your student to make sure they are prepared for their test sessions.

Testing is untimed. Please encourage your student to NOT rush. If they don't finish on their assigned day, they will be given additional time to finish.

Itinerary of 5/08/24:

6:45am: Arrive at TJMS/Begin boarding buses

7:00am: Depart to Disneyland

9:00am: Arrive to Disneyland

9:30am - 10:00pm: Time in Disneyland

10:30pm-11:00pm: Begin boarding buses/Depart to TJMS

Approximately 1:00am: Arrive at TJMS

ATTENTION CURRENT 6th Graders: Mandatory TDAP Vaccines

In an effort to support families in meeting the state mandated vaccination requirements for 7th grade, the DSUSD is hosting a FREE vaccine clinic Thursday, May 2nd. (Details below) All current 6th graders MUST have their TDAP vaccination before they can begin 7th grade in August.

Traffic Flow During Pickup/Drop Off

When picking up or dropping off students, please do NOT stop in the outer lane of the drive way. If you need to stop and wait for your student to get in or out, please pull as far up as possible and stop against the inner curb (school side).
We must ask that all families drive safely and carefully while in the school parking lot.

Walking Student Safety

Students should NEVER cross Jackson street except at the cross walks where they are protected by traffic signals.
Please speak to your students if they walk to ensure they always walk to the cross walks.
